Leonel Azuela is an entrepreneur and business leader with over two decades of experience driving growth through technology, data, and sales performance optimization. He is the founder and CEO of Quaxar, established in 2000, a company recognized for its expertise in lead generation, CRM operations, and sales conversion strategies across the U.S. and Latin America. Quaxar develops loyalty platforms and the Customer Data Hangar, an advanced data and automation environment that enables Fortune 500 companies to convert data into measurable business growth.

In 2022, Leonel co-founded EvolutionCode, a Latin American nearshore IT and AI solutions firm that helps organizations scale efficiently through data-driven customer engagement and AI-powered solutions. The company has doubled in size every year, serving clients in the U.S. and Japan. Its latest innovation, LegalHelp, applies artificial intelligence to streamline legal and compliance workflows for financial institutions.

Previously, Leonel served as CEO of Grupo Brisa, a diversified Mexican conglomerate in hospitality, logistics, and industrial services. Under his leadership, the company’s revenue grew more than sevenfold. His strategic focus on customer experience and operational excellence earned him the Prize for Excellence from Bridgestone México and a nomination as Tire Man of the Year by the National Association of Tire Distributors.

Leonel’s passion lies in developing people and entrepreneurial ecosystems. He co-founded Miami Business Pro with Tecnológico de Monterrey, represented Veracruz in MIT’s REAP program, and mentors through Endeavor and the How to Start Something initiative by Entrepreneur Ready. He began his career at Deutsche Bank, McKinsey & Company, and the Office of the Mexican President.

Leonel holds an MBA and MPA from Harvard University, graduated with honors in Economics from ITAM, and is a PMP-certified professional. Leo loves practicing sailing, waterskiing, hugh sports fan, and sharing time with family and friends.
