Born, raised, and still living in Lafayette, LA

Betsy has 3 children and 6 grandchildren.

1981 – Received her Bachelor’s Degree at UL and opened a direct selling business

1983 – Became a Sales Director, trainer, and leadership and business coach in the direct selling industry working with sales force members nationally and internationally, and speaking to crowds in excess of 6,500 people.

2009 – Lead a sales force of almost 300 to the #3 position in the nation and #7 worldwide

Betsy is a Certified Outgrow Advisor supporting businesses to increase revenue 15-30% year over year. She is a Certified Spiritual Director who served as VP of the Louisiana Association of Spiritual Directors. She is an authorized partner and certified trainer for DiSC, The 5 Behaviors, and Working Genius. She is past board member for the Acadiana Better Business Bureau. Betsy is a past Super Host for Airbnb and her book about her experiences hosting has become an Amazon Best-Seller. In 2017 she was prompted by friends and family to transfer her skills to the local market. That is when Betsy Richard Consulting came to life.
